When I planned my dive trip to Con Dao, I expected vibrant coral reefs. And don't get me wrong, they were amazing. But I saw something on the Amadive itinerary: **Wreck Diving**. My pulse jumped. This wasn't just a standard reef dive; this was an adventure into the past.

I have to admit, I felt a little apprehensive. Wreck diving requires extra care. But the team at **Amadive Con Dao Dive Center** were incredible. The PADI guides provided a very thorough safety briefing. We discussed our safety procedures, the history of the sunken ship, and what to expect down there. The fact we were in a small group instantly put me at ease comfortable.

Descending was surreal. At first, it's a shadow in the distance, and then it appeared. It was huge. It's now a bustling artificial reef, covered in soft corals and swarming with fish. We saw giant groupers peeking from inside the cargo hold, and schools of fusiliers patrolling the cracks. That feeling of swimming alongside this giant, silent structure was hard to describe—eerie, beautiful, and humbling at the same time. It's a time capsule under the water.
